Clearing paths on Fox Hill

E-mail
Time for tea...

We met on a beautiful summer morning outside the Underwood entrace to the Birch Wood.

Our task for the day was to clear some of the paths on Fox Hill because they had become impassable due to bramble and fern growth.

The path is overgrown with Bramles in fox Hill Woods. Dave sets to work The path is clear! A lovely spot! Dave and Neil move a branch A nice clear path Time for tea... Moving on to the next spot Lesley full of the joys of working in the woods... Spot the path!!! Nelly gives it some welly! Ron clearing some ferns Dave being delicate! Can you spot the path now?

Members of the ACT regularly walk the woods and note any fallen trees or other obstacles that have fallen on the path. They can then be tackled at the next workday to ensure the woods are always accessible for all New Addington residents to enjoy.
